LUCID MOTORS UNVEILS ITS FIRST ELECTRIC SUV, THE GRAVITY
A new electric SUV has been unveiled by Lucid Motors, called the Gravity.
Tesla's Model X is expected to be the main competitor for the Gravity.
There are four different versions of the SUV, and it can go up to 500 miles.
Prices start at $69,900 for the base model and go up to $139,000.
Lucid's upcoming Air sedan will also be built on Lucid's new electric platform.
A panoramic glass roof and a 34-inch curved display will feature the SUV's spacious interior.
A lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control are also on board.
US and Canadian preorders for the Gravity will start late next year.
Early 2023 is when production will start.
It's going to release several new models in the next few years, and it's aiming to be a major player.
A Saudi Arabian private equity fund backed the company and it's raised more than $4 billion.
There's also talk about Lucid Motors building a factory in Saudi Arabia that will make 400,000 cars a year.
