An 18-unit recall has been issued by Mazda for its new 2024 CX-90 SUV. The front suspension and

Steering Components Are Subject To This Recall Because Of Concerns About Damage.

To resolve the problem, it is necessary to torque the bolts and nuts to their

Proper Specifications. We are particularly concerned about four fasteners: the nut and bolt that secure the

Upper Control Arm To The Steering Knuckle, The Bolt That Secures The Intermediate Shaft To The Steering

Gear, And The Bolt That Secures The ABS Wheel-Speed Sensor To The Steering Knuckle.

There have been two field reports of front upper control arms and steering knuckles separating in

Japan, Which Led Mazda To Become Aware Of This Issue. As a result of Mazda's investigation, 18

Potentially Affected Vehicles Were Identified By June 13 And Recalled. To alert owners of the issue, Mazda will

Contact Them Directly And Instruct Them To Take Their CX-90 To A Mazda

Dealership In Their Area. The recall has not been associated with any injuries or accidents.

Mazda, their local dealer, or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration can provide information

Regarding Whether Their 2024 CX-90 Is Covered By The Recall.
